National Vegetarian Week 2010
By Jo /
Monday 24th - Sunday 30th May is National Vegetarian Week. Throughout the week, events will be held up and down the country to promote inspirational vegetarian food and the benefits of a meat-free lifestyle. To find out about events that might be happening near you, search the Events Diary. Activities in your area might include social events, information displays, special meals or restaurant discounts. The Events Diary also allows you to submit your own event, and offers ideas and inspiration as to how you might be able to take part. Individuals who are taking part in National Vegetarian Week privately, for example by cutting out meat for a week, can submit their pledge on the Veggie Pledge Form.
